Job Description

Primary Job Function

Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.

Essential Job Functions
  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
  • Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
  • Comply with federal, state and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.
  • Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
  • Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures.
  • Compile statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
  • Code documents according to company procedures.
  • Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and credit card payments.
  • Calculate and prepare checks for utilities, taxes, and other payments.
  • Prepare and process payroll information.
  • Purchasing materials through pre-approved vendors.
Job Knowledge
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

Additional Information

This position works closely with the Human Resources department and may be involved in some HR processes. This position may require some in-town travel. A clean driving record is preferred in a candidate.

Woodlane is in search of a Loading/Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver who is concerned with transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Loading/Delivery associate will package, load, and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client. To succeed as a Delivery Driver, you should be polite and thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying your responsibilities.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
  • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries
  • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, backing up trailers, etc.
  • Inspect delivery vehicles before and after a delivery
  • Assist cabinet installers in the field when necessary
  • Assist with facility maintenance

Delivery Driver Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license issued by the state where you intend to work
  • Clean driving record
  • Special licenses may be required to operate certain vehicles
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Experience in a similar position is preferred
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
  • Strong time management and customer service skills
  • Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
  • Attention to detail

Woodlane is in search of a Project Coordinator

Job Description
Project Coordinator- primary job responsibility is assisting project managers and estimators through the process from bidding projects through installation.

Responsibilities:

  • Know & understand our pricing model and estimating tools
  • Know & communicate the project schedule.
  • Know & communicate the plans and details of the project.
  • Coordinate all submittals (samples, drawings, etc.).
  • Review shop drawings prior to submitting- confirm all details are correct.
  • Communicate job details to engineering/production/installation.
  • Coordinate purchasing of counter tops & buy-in products not affiliated w/ production.
  • Monitor job progress.
  • Coordinate field work and installation.
  • Skills/Knowledge:
  • Clear and confident written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiar and comfortable with reading construction documents from blueprints to technical sheets.
  • Know how to use the following software: Adobe PDF, Excel, MSWord, AutoCAD, and possess the ability to learn new software packages as needed.
  • Know how to navigate folders on a network.
  • Experience in millwork and/or casework is a plus.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to identify problems before they arise.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience in commercial and residential construction methods a plus.

Woodlane is in search of a Cabinet Installer

Installer Position Overview:

Reporting to the Installation Coordinator, the Woodlane installer is the final stage of the production process. Installers have the ability and skill to complete installation from start to finish. This position works on various jobsites: residential, commercial, and industrial, and works in accordance with Woodlane’s core values.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide the highest level of quality standards while maintaining a professional attitude with the utmost respect for the customer’s property
  • Inspection and assembly of materials and articles to specified standards
  • Perform all cabinet installations, with the ability to reason and to understand and carry out detailed written, illustrated, or oral instructions
  • Read and understand Woodlane blueprints and drawings
  • Ensure work is completed as requested by the customer, project manager, or contractor and the work meets their standards
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
  • Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property
  • Practice good housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite
  • Participate in and demonstrate an understanding of safety principles and practices; follow all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment
  • Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns affecting completion of the job to the Install Coordinator/Project manager
  • Advanced and experienced installer will be required to act as “lead installer” as designated by their manager
  • Attend all Woodlane sponsored training courses

Qualifications Skills:

  • Cabinetry certification, and / or 1+ years’ experience in related field
  • Must have experience installing cabinets
  • Excellent carpentry and hand tool skills
  • Experience with handheld power tools (drill, jigsaw, etc.)
  • Woodlane is a metric shop: Possess the ability take accurate measurements in those units
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
  • Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Woodlane’s vehicle policy
  • Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer and/or tablet/iPad experience
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends when requested
  • Periodic travel will be required
